Fitzrovia has witnessed an incredible surge of galleries joining its already vibrant art community. This makes it the perfect time to bring back the Fitzrovia Lates, commencing this week on April 11.

A group of 15 galleries is supporting the return of the Lates: Night Café, Vitrine, TJ Boulting, Workplace, Alice Amati, Pipeline, Josh Lilley, Edel Assanti, Brook Bennington, Maximillian William, Alice Black, Berntson Bhattacharjee, Albion Jeune, Niru Ratnam, and Gillian Jason Gallery.

Fitzrovia is gaining increasing recognition as the host of some of London’s most exciting galleries. Initiatives like the Fitzrovia Gallery Map and the revival of Fitzrovia Lates aim to capitalise on this momentum.

"The motivation behind reviving Fitzrovia Lates is to drive public engagement but also foster deeper connections within the gallery community to enrich the area’s art scene even more," says Maribelle Bierens, initiator of the event. "By making it easier for visitors to see multiple shows after hours, we hope to enhance the accessibility and vibrancy of the area's art scene."

For the first iteration, the participating galleries keeping their doors open will be Night Café, Vitrine, TJ Boulting, Workplace, Alice Amati, Pipeline, Josh Lilley, Edel Assanti, Brook Bennington, Maximillian William, Berntson Bhattacharjee, and Gillian Jason Gallery.
