Inviting viewers to reflect on the current changes and the possibility of coexistence in these, you guess it, COVID times, The Bakery showcases FIGHT OR FLIGHT? where 20 artists are moving forward out of the recent state of uncertainty, and are centered around ideas of collaboration and integration.

In FIGHT OR FLIGHT?, subject matters clash and mediums and style are varied, and hereby, it tries to bring forth the possibility of how we can coexist alongside each other with all of our differences. While we are surpassing our ‘fight or flight’ MO, the exhibition tries to create an environment where we can question our emotional responses to these times.

The exhibition is organised by Roman Road in partnership with The Columbia and is the inaugural exhibition in The Bakery, a newly renovated and collaborative gallery space in London.

Curated by Marisa Bellan, the participating artists are: Adam Waymouth, Alexander James, Alix Marie, Anna Skladmann, Caroline Popham, Cecilia Di Paolo, Christabel MacGreevy, Daisy Dodd-Noble, Dennis Buck, Diane Chappalley, Guy Haddon Grant, India Nielsen, Jan Agha, Jack Laver, Jordan Hemingway, Louis Morlet, Loulou Siem, Pedro Trindade, Sola Olulode, Yulia Losilzon.
